She looked well, happy and vibrant as she always did and i think that's why her loss was so much harder to take, moreso for her her husband and daughter and then for us, the fans who knew her as Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who, both classic and new, then ultimately The Sarah Jane Adventures.
When she returned in "School Reunion" with David Tennant, the collective wow from Whovians nationwide was most likely heard every where.
This woman entertained a lot of us when we were kids and again a new generation in this 21st century, with the same smile and spark in her eyes, that won us over in her days with Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker. That was her way i guess. I didn't know HER, but like a lot of us, knew Sarah Jane and again as with many of us loved Sarah Jane . She is greatly missed, but the legacy she gave us in her adventures with The Doctor and then the Kids of Bannerman road, will ensure she is never forgotten.
Goodnight , OUR Sarah Jane
night, night little blog
